I was born in the beautiful city of Istanbul, Turkey on June 5th, 1976. After receiving my Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in 1998 I attended the graduate Diploma program in International Management in the Institute of Business Economics in Istanbul University School of Business Administration, where I graduated with the highest GPA. After working for an MIS Services start-up I decided to pursue a PhD in MIS and I was admitted to the PhD Program in Management Science with Information Systems concentration at the University of Texas at Dallas. Some time after completing my coursework, I obtained a Master of Science degree in Information Technology and Management in Fall 2005.
