Learning is a continuous process which occupies most of
our lives. We learn how to get to our friends’ houses, learn new recipes
and even about new products in our daily lives. Schools are designed to get
students learn some skills through a long journey completed in a relatively
short period of time. Educators guide students through this journey. In the
classroom, my responsibility as an instructor is to help my students to learn
as much as possible by providing them an interactive and open environment.
I believe learning has four main components: listening, thinking, practicing
and applying. To me, learning is complete once all these have been accomplished
properly. The educator should provide the means for the above components,
and different methods should be used depending on the level and the course.
